With Mrs Ibukun Awosika. Chairman, Board of Directors, First Bank of Nigeria Limited . I have always admired her. Her Faith. Her strength of character. Her achievements. She is a made entrepreneur. Treasure in your sack!

‘'Don’t be afraid, your God, the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks…’’ Gen 43:2 Treasures are hidden in most unlikely places, in earthen vessels like you and I. Some treasures are buried in the sea floor and meters beneath the earth. Some have been discovered accidentally and some intentionally. Until discovered, no one can claim the benefits from it’s huge potentials, none can trade with it for profit.  To everyone, an amount of treasure is given with which to beautify the world and leave indelible marks in the sands of time. People migrate from one continent to another in search of grains and silver – better job openings and placement, educational qualifications, food, business ventures and opportunities in various spheres of life. Joseph’s brothers were filled with fear when they discovered the Egyptians had sold grains to them and their silver was somewhat still left in their sack. So I woke up very excited that Sunday morning. Just a little over one hour journey to get to Aba, the town where I grew up and left sixteen years ago. I was going home. Close to my land of nativity where my life like a clean slate had her foundational letters written upon. I walked down to the park and boarded a coaster bus for the a-little-over-one hour journey. My first ‘aha’ moment was when I was asked to squeeze myself in the middle of four passengers sitting on a row of seats obviously meant for four people. I was surprised and unhappy though other passengers didn’t seem to mind. Imagine sitting in a way that you couldn’t move your hands to ransack your hand bag like a typical lady even if you had nothing exactly you were looking for. Very awkward posture and to think that I paid full fare with other passengers was unfair.
